This tea comes from the famous Wuyi Mountain region in Fujian province China, designated as the tea growing area for the emperors during the Yuan Dynasty. This green tea is made from the top 2 leaves and the bud of the new season growth. These delicate leaves are then hand rolled into small pearls and then layered together with the freshest most fragrant jasmine flowers during the spring bloom. A jasmine tea lovers delight. We suggest that you use around a teaspoon of dragon tears with water that is off boil, we do not recommend using a tea ball as that constricts the leaves and does not allow for proper infusion. After 4 minutes of steeping remove the leaves and set aside, do not discard as these leaves will provide more than 1 cup of tea.
